The design of a restaurant begins to create the experience and perception of the guests long before the guest started to enjoy their food. Our interior is decorated with calming blue and greens, reminiscent of the water and surrounding foliage. Our restaurant is a peaceful,serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Restaurant Le Lac is located on the ground floor of Mercure Tallinn Hotel in the immediate vicinity of Tallinn Airport. Our restaurant serves lunch specials to business clients, and in the evening, classical à la carte menu. We welcome individual diners as well as groups – for the latter, we can offer menus and concepts customised to your needs.
Our chef Andrei Kostin has prepared the menu, drawing from the cuisines of the world while using the best local product. The menu inspired by its location near the lake and includes various fish-based dishes. Andrei loves to use techniques from French cuisine when preparing food.
During his career, Andrei has worked in several famous award-winning restaurants, such as Horisont, Tchaikovsky, Ribe, and Bordoo. He also represented Estonia at the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition.
